"This is my story, this is my song."
Faust is a very skilled musician, full of ambitions and ideas. Although he might act and look like a teenager for his age, he does have manners and is a gentleman whenever it is appropriate. He can be responsible as well as independent, yet in certain situations he still acts careless due to not being fully mature. He often struggles with reading other people's feelings, sometimes even disregarding what they feel, because it's easier than trying to understand. On top of that, he cannot remain calm when someone or something is upsetting him.

"Where words fail, music speaks."
Faust was being raised as a musician from a very young age. His father Viktor, a well known pianist who even had ocassions to play for the King himself a couple times, had hoped for his son to inherit his music genius. Unfortunately, that was not the case. No matter how hard Faust studied and practiced the piano he was never good enough. Years later his brother Mephisto was born, who later turned out to be way more talented at playing the piano.
Faust's journey with violins began on a gloomy day when he was 10 years old and a family photo with his parents and a little brother was being taken. His father insisted to have some sort of music symbol on the photo, however a piano would not fit in well. This is when Faust was given a violin to hold. It's how his fascination with violins had began, his hatered for piano, and disapporval from his father.
Until the age of 17, Faust was being forced to learn to play on piano. The day he bought his first violins, was the day his father stopped supporting him in anything. As soon as he finished his music school 2 years later, he went to study music further and swore to not touch a piano ever again. He also started to work as a barista to pay for his studies, while still living with family. His relation with father is very negative. They often get into arguments, where Viktor not only insults him but also tries to destroy the rests of Faust's self-esteem. On the contrary, Faust is on good terms with his mother Suzanne, loving her very dearly.
"Work hard in silence, let the succes make the noise."
One day however, he gets upset at his mother for her not defending him from his father, and being ignorant to his issues. That day Viktor kicks him out of the house to the streets on a blistering cold during winter. Having nowhere to go and with his pride making him too ashamed to join any smaller orchestra, afraid of his peers and family accidentally stumbling upon him and looking down at him, he goes somewhere where no one would look for him. He finds a pub where they were looking for a someone who could play on a keyboard. Having not much choice, Faust decides to bite the bullet and go for it.
"Play me like a violin."
When it comes to his relationship with Maya, he had met her at a dance ball for wealthy families. Unfortunately, Maya's and Faust's parents already knew each other. Viktor often would tell them how rude, disobedient and frivolous his son is, which is why Maya's parents had never given Faust a chance. Faust and Maya had to keep their relationship a secret until the day they both decided to move away from their hometown and play in a musical theatre - Maya performing on the scene, and Faust playing the music with orchestra.
