Ann is an extremely reserved girl who often loses herself in novels and fiction over facing her harsh reality, being raised in the middle of a war. Her cold and demanding mother sheltered her from a large portion of this reality, as well as her own position in it as a merciless General working for a morally-questionable King. With a lack of friends early on, Ann struggles in most social situations and prefers to be independent. She enjoys knitting, arts & crafts, and gardening.
