Backgroundstory:
3 Months after Terena was born some human bandits killed her parents and took her away. They thought they could sell her for a high price, but soon after beings kidnapped by these bad humans, she got ill. Thinking that this wloud be the end oft this baby dyrnid and so be a bother to them, they abandoned Terena in a dark forest. Alone and ill, small and helpless she thought that she would die.
But she got luck, another human, a hunter found her. He was young and wanted to help this little child. He seems to know much about herbs, so that he could treat her. So he took her in and after she got healthier, he decided to teach her everything necessary to survive. Terena trusted him more and more and he became really important to her. That´s also how she learned the human language.
They lived happily together for 17 years. Then one day something odd happened.
Her beloved human was hunting for both as usually. He always was in charge of the food, because Terena was too lazy searching for food. Even trough she know how to do it. While hunting the human met a group of bandits. They thought he would tell the guards from the nearby town where they could be found. So as the human tried to flee form the bandits they followed him. Trying to kill him. Some time passed and the human looked around after running so much that he got the feeling that his legs might break. No one seemed to be around and he decided to head back home, to where Terena was waiting for him.
Terena could see her beloved human coming home after awfully long hours without him. She got excited and stood up, but then she saw another human right behind her beloved one. Her eyes opened wide as she saw how the Bandit killed her beloved one. The bandit hadn't seen Terena and hurried up to leave the place where he had killed another human being. Terena was confused. Why did her beloved Human just fell? Why didn't he moved anymore? She ran over to his lifeless body, pocked him, licked his face and even spoke to him, but he didn't respond in any way. Terena began to cry, cried so long that two hours passed and than she realised that he wouldn't be able to come back to her. After realising that she panicked, her traumatic past came back and haunted her. So she tried to run away, even trough she hated so much to move around so much. Miles passed, she slowed her pace down and after that slowly wandering around, not knowing what to do. 2, 3 or more days passed, that she was like this. Then she came to her sense and thought about what to do now. She new her human wouldn't be happy about herself running around senseless like this. He had taught her anything she should know so maybe she should try to find some other dyrnids. Terena did know small things about her own race at least everything that her beloved human told her. So it would be best to find some other dyrnids and get to know herself better.
Now in search for a group of other dyrnids that would take her in and teach her and with small hope to even find new friends, she is wandering around.
