When Oneiros is overworked or overwhelmed to her breaking point, The Nightmare arises. She's traditionally used in plays where a force of vengeance is required. If someone is haunted in their dreams by regret, self-hatred, or plain old spooky shit, The Nightmare's who you need. So she's got a few types of roles and is more frequently seen on-stage than The Dreamer (not that that's a high bar).
The Dreamer dislikes letting her out, so to speak, since dear ole Nightmare's only unleashed after a significant burden is placed on Oneiros. The Narrator would frequently force her to overuse her magic to bring out The Nightmare.
She is a force of nature, more storm than a person; the havoc she wreaks, however, is discriminate. While she carves a path through those stubborn enough to stand in her way, if one steps out of said path she will move on. Her skin, like her fellow thespians', is an odd color. Hers is black.
