Shana Lugira

Shana was originally born as a human in Hawaii. When she was 9 years old, she was outside in the patio of her house watching a thunderstorm. That was when she saw a mermaid injured at the beach. She came out  during the storm and nursed the mermaid to health, and the two bonded  and started their friendship. On her 13th birthday, the mermaid gave  Shana a greatest gift a mermaid could give to human: the ability to  become a mermaid. Since then, whenever her legs gets wet, her legs would  form into her mermaid tail until dry. While Shana embraced her new life  as a mermaid, she wasn't ready to leave her family and friends, and  today, she still continues to balance her mermaid life with her life  among humans, while trying to keep her new race a secret.
