Karaba Sarie

Character originally made for Scarffinn's design submission, to cameo in a story. KINDA became a bigger deal.

Short history:
Karaba hasn't exactly had a happy life. His status as a weaker Hajin, even among Mystery Clan, has left him less than happy with himself. Depression struck, and Karaba was very close to attempting suicide. If it weren't for one moment of clarity, when he realized that he actually really didn't want to die, he would've succumbed to the demon that guided him to these actions. With the fact that most of his depression was caused by the demon, who was now on the edge of taking him over permanently, Karaba decided to talk to the demon. Ready to fight the Hajin, the demon was surprised Karaba opted instead to talk things over, rather than fight.

Karaba is an extremely lucky Hajin. His quick thinking caused the demon inside of him to drop their guard completely, thinking the weaker Hajin didn't have a chance at defeating it anyway.. And it was right! But with it's guard dropped, Karaba managed to get in a single, thorough strike, that disabled the demon, but didn't kill it. Although Karaba panicked about the demon getting back up and him having almost no power left to do anything else.. the demon soon succumbed to it's wounds, leaving Karaba to survive the ordeal.

This eventually caught the attention of Hyuga. Karaba had simply decided to take it easy for awhile, considering what he had just gone through, until Hyuga showed up and attempted to persuade him to join her through threats.. But after talking to him, she ceased her threats as it turned out but a test to see if he was a demon or not. Convinced by his unwillingness to jump on the occasion to cause chaos, she decided to instead help Karaba get used to his Survivor abilities and him to aide her.. reluctantly, at least in return for helping him. As long as it's not a job to cause harm to people. Pranks, on the other hand.. well, he isn't planning to, but as long as it's harmless, why not, right?

Personality:
Mainly due to the demon influencing him, Karaba used to seem very meek, weak-willed.. somewhat shy and retiring. It caused him to be a rather reclusive Hajin, with the lack of social contacts just making everything worse, until the demon finally attacked. Since surviving that encounter, Karaba has been getting a more positive outlook on life, feigning a bit of a haughty personality, trying to be assertive. Living your entire life under the negative influence of a demon has made things a bit more difficult for Karaba, but realizing he's not really bound to anything anymore, he's adopted a more easy-going personality, and he's not going to let anyone walk over him again.
