"Light inside a jar"
"I'm just a simple nurse" is the kind of phrase that Lucia would usually say to hide her unusual nature.
She started off as a speckle of light who shapeshifted into a human and integrated herself into society, became a nurse, and then on her travels encountered her adoptive son Aether. Later on she encountered Vissarion, the prince of a fallen empire. They traveled around the world on a mission to eradicate the current gods and finally rise the fallen empire from the ashes to rule as queen and king.
Notes
- Can use her light magic to make illusions and can even shapeshift herself into a monster if she so wishes to.
- Very strong, physically and mentally.
- Her body is unusually smooth, like ceramic. It can break like such, she's a Vessel with human functions.
- Her blood is golden (her organs as well) and it burns, it can also catch on fire when exposed to certain metals.
- She can break into pieces and put herself back together like a broken jar, although it hurts her a lot and takes too much time.
- Can shapeshift her body or get out of her "vessel" and make a new one. It requires a lot of time and effort.
Lucia started off as being a lone-wolf, but as soon as she started to deal with people other personality traits resurfaced: Being a bimbo is one of them.
Very passionate about the things she likes and her way of seeing things. She shows excitement in a very low-key way, rarely smiles but when she does it's because she can't contain herself anymore or because she's completely overcome with happiness (which happens often with those close to her). It's not that she doesn't show emotions often, but she rather do actions that show how she feels.
She can be hard to read at times but she will be blunt about her emotions and thoughts, which can seem a bit harsh at times. Doesn't feel the need to hide anything.
She will take extreme measures for insignificant things and her way of thinking is extremely straight-forward. Even considering treating delicate situations with "planned" brute force.
She's extremely devoted to those she holds dear and will do anything for them without thinking it twice (or at all). Will do things her way.
Lucia has a strong sense of justice and will also take matters into her own hands if she deems it necessary.

Early days
Lucia is one of the many spirit-children of the last Titan that stood alive, she was a specle of it's remaining life force who started to gain a conscience of the world around her as she kept exploring. Slowly, she began to take the shape of the things in her surroundings, growing apart from her "spirit-family" who decided to remain in a shapeless form as a hive-mind.
Taking on many shapes and forms she started to slowly enjoy the complexity that life had to bring, experimenting around with the shapes of insects, small animals, bigger animals and finally: Humans.
She wasn't accepted as a human at first since her mimicry was uncanny and she did not know how to speak the languages around her or how to communicate in a "normal human" way, often looking and acting more feral than what people would accept. It took her many tries and identities until she finally managed to grasp a bit more of the human world and her understanding of it. She decided to take the form of a child to finally be "raised" as she noticed that humans had more patience with children.
Loneliness Era
Growing as a human wasn't too difficult once she was accepted as a child, however due to her nature, she doesn't age normally and people around her started to notice this. Not to mention that her skin and blood are unusual as well. Having to change places was the answer for a time.
She often left behind people she grew attached to, friends, found family, lovers, people who would try to marry her; all in the name of not being found out as someone "inhuman". Her heart was broken multiple times when being found out that she wasn't entirely human and not being accepted, often being asked "What are you?" before people showed their fear of being "tricked" by a witch or other abnormality.
She started to become more detached of everything and everyone, slowly falling into a routine of moving out and changing friend groups and living places every two decades before people started wondering why she doesn't age, if people recognized her she would claim to be the "daughter" of Lucia. She took the job of a nurse to at least have an excuse to be exposed to people without getting too attached to them in fear of being heartbroken once more.
Not only did she mourn her fear of getting close to people due to her nature and being labeled as a "monster", but also their "short" lifespans, even if she was accepted the people she grew attached to wouldn't live long like she does. She had to learn the hard way that people age and would pass away sooner than she did. This made her fear of loving someone or growing closer even stronger, making her fall into a cycle of loneliness.
Dying gods era
Lucia finally found a purpose when taking on a job that lead her to find her now adopted son Aether. Her son had unusual physical features that were linked to a long-forgotten by time- species: the empyrean court. Due to his nature he was going to be used as an experiment to control a "god". Lucia wasn't going to allow that and she embarked on a journey that would change her life forever.
On her travels she slowly started to learn more in depth about the intricacies that the world had to offer her, including political and religious views, finally making her more open to the world around her. In one of her travels she found a captive empyrean, a prince of a fallen empire that had been a war prisioner. She took it upon her to help him get back on his feet and ended up falling in love. Lucky for her, empyreans also have long lifespans.
Lucia started to hunt down people who had wronged her son and her loved ones, slowly getting in deep water and getting to the real root of all her problems: The Lunar queen and the Abyssal god. Both of whom threatened the lives of everyone in the world by creating caos and constant wars.Eventually falling into a "Long night" that lasted for many months.
Crossing amongst cursed deserts and places, fighting the children of the Abyssal god and lunar witches, getting involved with the cult of the Abyssal god and commiting a lot of crimes was worth it for Lucia, as dealing with all of this would free her loved ones from a sure death. Finally managing to appreciate every second that she had with people instead of mourning what she couldn't have and not do anything about it.
Her travels made her appreciate life in a new and richer way than ever before, slowly becoming more social and having people talk about her feats and travesy around the world to save it from an era of Caos.
With the help of all the new people she got to know along the way, she killed both the Moon Queen and the Abyssal god and all of his children. It was a war that lasted months but they finally succeeded, entering into a new era of stability.
After the war
Lucia and Vissarion got married immediatly after recovering from the war, their union bringing a new era of stability to the world and slowly raising the fallen empire of Cyllene from the ashes and making it a rich-filled with life place for everyone to visit, as it was considered a lost city.
Many cities were united and the sun funally hung hugh in the sky after "The long night", shinning upon them with good fortune ahead of their long lives. Lucia didn't waste any time to start making her new family grow and sooner than everyone expected, she had a daughter with Vissarion, making her the first of MANY of her several children to come and form part of this propsperous new world.
Her husband and the former prince of a fallen empire which rose again thanks to their hard work and effort combined. They're both idiots together and share one braincell. Lucia loves to hear him ramble about his proyects and show him love in any way she can. They have a very deep and strong bond.
Her son (not biological) who escaped from a cult, Lucia bowed to protect him from any harm at all costs. She dotes on him a ton and adores him dearly. He's spoiled rotten. Lucia will overlook all the evil things he does and praise him for his ideas instead.
Her father-in-law whom she rescued from a tower that contained the Abyssal god that Hyperion was constantly fighting against. She's on very good terms with him and he's happy that Lucia is expanding their family tree.
