Nym is a changeling who tends to take on the appearance of a human child, around 12 years old. They are bloodthirsty, strong-willed, and temperamental, but can easily become attached to those who choose to give them a chance and stick around. Beneath the violent surface, they're a troubled person whose insecurities and anxieties run deep. They just want to find a place to belong.
Unfortunately, they usually scare any potential friends away with their true form and/or murderous escapades, so they fall in with the wrong crowds--people who take advantage of them, or people who actively seek to harm others. This often ends with them killing their associates, then assuming their identities or becoming someone else altogether. At this point, they've "stolen" so many identities that they hardly know who they are anymore.

☉ Nym likes to feign helplessness in order to get in the good graces of strangers. Sometimes they do this, then backstabs their new "allies" when they least expect it.
☉ Nym is a very skilled spellcaster for their age.
☉ Their identity and personality depends on who they're currently disguised as. Each mask comes with its own name, history, and persona that they carefully remember and acts out. The baker's disguise has a light-hearted and kind persona. The warrior has a stoic and vicious manner. Nym will play it true to form without flaw each time because while disguised, that's who they are. There is no Nym--only the baker, the warrior, or whoever's face they're currently wearing.
