Clover

Clover is an android that was built as a secret project by Indigo. He was intended to be a weapon to help defend Obsidian (their tiny island home) from adversaries. Clover was trained in specialized close combat and stealth. He is extremely agile and has an extensive database of general knowledge. He is about 5'(153cm) and has the face of a young adult.

Despite Obsidian being a tiny, close-knit island community, he's not supposed to be seen by others and his existence is mostly unknown. Only one other person has been formally introduced to Clover-- Indigo's love interest, Meadow. Although Clover is officially only referred to as his model number, "439", he was nicknamed "Clover" by Meadow when she discovered his more human side.

Clover takes his hardwired role as island guardian seriously but can't contain his curiosities about the human lives of the other islanders. Clover wasn't built to have human emotions or desires but became self-aware and slowly deviated from his programming over time. Since this deviation is not encouraged (or even hardly acknowledged) by Indigo, Clover is left anxious and troubled as he tries to figure out who he is and what his emotions are. He likes the outdoors and finds joy in the simplest things like pretty flowers, cool seashells, and good smells.

He eventually got caught on a mission once by Leaf who immediately introduced him to his best friend, Drip. Leaf and Drip became Clover's only friends whom he routinely sneaks away to visit.

One of Clover's biggest adversaries is an infestation of creatures called the Void. They take many forms and look like they're made of black ink. Humans are very susceptible to their antagonizing attacks since they feed off of emotions and adrenaline, hence why Indigo never fought them himself. Clover is often covered in dark fluids from his daily Void extermination missions, which can leave stains on his skin sometimes. He has a special ability to transfer his life force to a human in order to heal physical wounds, although it drains all of his energy and cannot be used very often.
