Drake's semi-material form following being broken out of Tartarus and taking control of the mid-upper planar system. His time in the abyssal plane had messed with the very foundations of his form, as well as his mind, with his recovered form still unstable and difficult to look at. Think about when a game is glitched and the 3D model does things it really, really shouldn't. It is somewhere between his original semi-material form and his true divine form in shape.
