D arian Mauve is a later generation FraktureTek Close Quarters Drone, one of the first to be forged after The Mauvian Accord. He is heavily modified and serves as a Head of Security on board The Monarch.
Darian is a hand to hand combat fighter, and is designed to be able to redirect kinetic force throughout his body.>personality_
D arian is, by nature, stand-offish and reserved. But years of living with Candice has warmed his cold demeanor. More recently, he has grown an interest in becoming a parental figure. However, after tragic events resulting in the death of his first adoptive daughter, Darian has become hesitant to trust himself with such responsibilities.

Frakturetek's last years in corporate conquest caused a global stir. Sabotage from an unknown Receiver would emit a virus which halted inhibitors in all Drone's programming, causing a burst of sentience. First in Frakturetek drones, but the virus would become eventually impact 93% of all drones on Earth. Two decades later, The Mauvian Accord would bring rights to all Drones effected by the virus. Darian Mauve would be among one of the first waves of drones to be "born" with rights.
Having been given rights did not mean Drones would know what to do with them. Some Drones would remain in their intended positions, while others, like Darian, would move to a life of crime in order to get by.
The Copperheads are one of many Organized Crime Syndicates in The Georgian Metroplex. Though Darian has little patience for their manipulative tactics, he respects their strength and versatility. Darian has had close relations with The Copperheads since his early years as a Runner.
Candice Bakker comes from a lineage of Interplanetary Rangers and Legendary Lancers. She has designed dozens of popular firearms for private militaries and underground clients. Candice works out of a Carrier Class Solar Rig located on the outer edge of The Georgian Metroplex. Her fiery temper and commanding aura breaks Darian free of his cold exterior. Darian and Candice have developed a close romantic relationship after years of working together.
The Monarch is a Carrier Class Solar Rig owned by Candice Bakker. It is capable of holding an 800 person crew, and is one of few Solar Rigs in it's Class that is fully combat capable. After the tragic death of an adoptive daughter, Candice departs from Earth to grieve. Darian spends some time apart from Candice venturing through space as a Ronin in an effort to do the same.
Once Darian returns, he is introduced to Candice's mother, Lila Bakker. Owner of the Queen Alexandrae, and leader of a nomadic clan. The Monarch joins the caravan, now with Darian as head of Security.

Darian's arms are especially large.
- This is due to his origin as a FraktureTek CQD drone. The Pressure Redirect system requires more space in the arms or legs to increase capacity.
- Darian's dreads are extensions of his Pressure Redirect. When absorbing kinetic force, his dreads become more floaty.
- While Darian is currently yellow, he has gone through visual phases of green, gray, and blue.
- Darian will almost never wear a shirt. He claims it denies him necessary flexibility.
- He does however, have one fancy vest that we wears to luxurious events.

- Darian spent 4 years serving as a police officer under Carter Brooks, the officer originally tasked with the arrest and reset of Darian Mauve's runner crew.
- The reveal of this to Carter Brooks would break him and force him out of the police force. Carter now serves as a Navigator for The Monarch.
- While Darian does not have a full face under his faceplate, there is a set of robotic eyes underneath the exterior.
- Darian only permits two Solskippers to operate on him. Candice Bakker and Hazel Chefsonne.
- In his time as a Runner, Darian generated $42,643,773.92 in stolen/blood money for The Copperheads.
- Darian is one of the only CQD Model 126.98 Drones capable of actually storing kinetic force in his body. Others of his model type must expel the kinetic force quickly, or risk damaging themselves
