terms of service:

money payment

- you must send the payment within 24 hours unless discussed otherwise.

- i can also send an invoice if needed, just ask.

- i will only send the character/adopt files AFTER i receive payment.

- after sending payment, please send a screenshot to confirm it was sent.

art payment

- from the day i accept your art offer, you have TWO WEEKS to complete said art. (ex. if i accept your offer on jan 1st, you have until jan 14th to complete your art offer.)

- if you show me some sort of work in progress shots before these two weeks, you will get more time.

- if two weeks are up and i have not received any work in progress shots OR if we haven't discussed extending time, i am taking back the character/adopt.

i understand 100% that life is more important than art, but PLEASE keep me updated! if there's something going on at home or at school and you need more time, PLEASE JUST TELL ME! i won't be upset at all, we will work something out, but we can't work things out if you don't inform me that you need more time. 

adopts

- once i receive payment in full (money or art), the adopt is yours.

- please credit me for the design/art for the adopt.

- please do not sell the adopt for more than you paid for. (if you have commissioned art of the adopt, you can, of course, add that onto your selling price. what i'm saying is, if you buy it from me for $5, don't sell it for $20+ with no extra art.)

- you do not have to tell me who you sell the adopt to, once you pay for it, the adopt is yours.

about holds

if i am selling a character/adopt that you want, but you need time to gather funds, i will give you a hold, the hold will last anywhere between a couple of days and up to one week. anything longer i can not hold. IF YOU NO LONGER WANT THE CHARACTER/ADOPT, PLEASE TELL ME ASAP. I WILL NOT BE UPSET, I JUST NEED TO KNOW SO I CAN PUT THE CHARACTER/ADOPT BACK UP FOR SALE. IF THERE TURNS OUT TO BE AN EMERGENCY WHERE YOU CAN NO LONGER AFFORD THE CHARACTER/ADOPT, PLEASE TELL ME ASAP. I WILL NOT BE UPSET, I JUST NEED TO KNOW SO I CAN PUT THE CHARACTER/ADOPT BACK UP FOR SALE.

i understand that are a lot of bolded, underlined and italicized things in my terms of service, but lately i have had many people not contact me about owed art, people completely ghost me on payment, etc. i feel that my terms are very fair and understandable.

blacklist:

people on my blacklist are not allowed to commission me or receive adopts from me. i do not mind if one of my designs is sold to someone on my blacklist, as i know that i can not control where my designs go after they leave my possession, but please keep in mind that i do not interact with these individuals for a reason and would prefer they have none of my work. if you have any questions about why these users are blacklisted, feel free to reach out to me.
