Personality

Personality: A man of many words, he is adept at hiding his true feelings and often says things with a smile. This smile is rarely a true smile, and he can be snarky and snide in nature, as he is disillusioned in society and views it as a plague. Tatsuo only sees the human race as a way to get what he wants, and does not make lasting relationships for he is afraid of being double crossed. He lost his heart at a young age, his true colors being that of a scared and unsure individual.

History

Childhood: A child who grew up in an affluent family, one might wonder why he chose to walk the path of villainy. His father headed a company that produced, researched, and developed medicine. His mother was his father's right hand, and was a sinister woman many would not see fit to become a mother. Tatsuo was the second child and the only to have survived. His twin was stillborn, and Tatsuo had to be kept under intensive watch as he was weak and not expected to live. Through some miracle he survived. Tatsuo's quirk manifested early and with it came anemia, the quirk's ability being taxing on his body. He was not able to use his quirk until he reached his teen years. Tatsuo rarely saw his father and was left at home with his mother, who was displeased she could not be at her husband's side at this time. Being ignored was the best Tatsuo could wish for, as otherwise he was beaten and verbally abused. His mother blamed him for the death of Tatsuo's twin and saw him as only a barrier to her ability to work. Tatsuo was often sickly during his early years, both from a weak immune system and from his mother attempting to poison his food with her quirk. He was not allowed to attend a public nor private school, as his schooling was handled by a private tutor.

Teen years: With puberty came physical manifestations of his quirk: parts of his body began to darken and scales sprouted from his skin; his skin itself became tough and leathery and would break any hospital grade needle. His fingernails grew at an astounding rate, which he sharpened into points, and as his baby teeth fell out, fangs grew in. The nub at the bottom of his spine developed into a tail. He was still unable to control the quirk itself, and had to be hospitalized several times due to the venom levels in his blood being high enough to the point where there was a threat of his arteries and organs shutting down. His mother saw fit for him to take care of himself and returned to work at her husband's side. When Tatsuo was healthy enough, he would sneak out from the family residence and spend his nights out wandering the streets of Japan. He committed his first crime at the age of 15; a double homicide. The victims were found with several lacerations that bubbled with poison. The crime was never tracked back to Tatsuo as his quirk was never registered and was not on record. Tatsuo had no recollection of the murders he committed, only a deep fog in his mind. Whenever his quirk activated he became as a wild beast, as he had never received quirk counseling and thus had never learned to control it. So he let it control him. His mother soon learned of her son's deeds, and returned home one day, planning to put him under high security and ensure he never saw the light of day until he had "changed his ways." But things did not follow her plan, and upon seeing his mother, Tatsuo let the rage consume him. His quirk took over, the beast inside leaving behind a path of destruction and his mother's dead body in its wake. He fled to the streets, away from the home that had only hurt him. Once he had burnt himself out, he was found unconscious by a villain, who took him in. Tatsuo gave himself the name he now carries, and thru the tutelage of the villain who had taken him in, worked to learn how to control his quirk.

Adult years: In his late teens Tatsuo set up many shady deals and amassed quite a sum of money, which he invested into a laboratory where he now studies snake venom in hopes of discovering a way to balance his own system. Tatsuo's business runs more shady dealings of venom and also sells antivenom to hospitals. Tatsuo enters into a deal with the League of Villains; manpower in exchange for information and intel. He makes friends with Kyuryu Hoshasei, who attempts to help Tatsuo learn how to control his quirk. 

Tatsuo finds a friend and partner in Nine, who approaches Tatsuo with his ideals and goals. Tatsuo disappears with Nine for an undetermined amount of time; around several months. During this time, Tatsuo and Nine grow close as partners and even lovers. Tatsuo feels safe with Nine around, and they bond over shared issues (ie. not being able to use their quirks without it causing damage to their bodies). Tatsuo is able to open up more to Nine and Nine helps Tatsuo to learn how to better manage his depression and PTSD from his past. Tatsuo learns better coping mechanisms and is better able to control his quirk, allowing him to diminish or increase the physical appearance of it on his human form.

During these years, Tatsuo isn't seen in his human form - only in the beast that is his quirk, decimating and leveling cities. He's fully known as the villain Hydraxon then, but his human appearance is unknown. Tatsuo develops amnesia during these years, forgetting almost everything about his family, his friends, what he used to do, etc. He's but an empty shell of who he used to be, and attempting to recall memories causes him immense pain and leaves him with a migraine.

With a pair of serrated wings, two powerful hind legs, and a serpentine body that ends in a whip-like tail, he becomes something similar to what you might see in a sci-fi movie. This beast has the ability to spit acid and has venomous quills running down its length. But despite Tatsuo's resistance to poison and venoms, this quirk of his threatens to poison him every time he uses it. As Tatsuo is still fairly young he has not mastered control of this quirk yet and it shows in his appearance, scales and quills manifesting on his body. His studies on snake venom are a race against time, so that he may develop an antivenom for the poison running thru his own veins.
