1. They are an alien technically. They originate from a completely different planet from the rest of the Overture Crew. 2. They were hatched from an egg? Seed? Rock? that fell from the giant Austere Tree. As the egg split, their neck split as well and that's why their head floats, as with the rest of their species. 3. I got their name from that one song 4. They were banished from Austere for ungodly crimes against its citizens. The Toymaker only believes their banishment was a mistake and wants to get back to their planet at any cost. 5. The Toymaker believes themself intellectually and physically superior to all inhabitants of Valois. (The Overture Planet), and only sees them as playthings. 6. The Toymaker's powers come from Austerian Crystals, which land on Valois as meteors. The more the Toymaker uses their powers, the more the crystals are drained. 7. The Toymaker only cares about their own wellbeing and returning to Austere. They are incredibly selfish, manipulative, and cruel, even by Austerian standards. 8. There is no redeeming The Toymaker.
