Pop! goes the weasel.
Popgoes is something of a cryptid. They never stop smiling, never blink, never speak, and they can seemingly show up anywhere. Many have reported seeing a huge colorful box with a crank on the side, show up in the most random of places. No one knows where it comes from or how it gets there. Those brave enough to turn the handle report this equally colorful weasel emerging from the box, a creepy smile on their face... They're unnerving at best and terrifying at worst. Despite all this, they don't seem hostile. And though they love to mess with others, they actually seem to enjoy making people smile as well.

- Their head isn't connected to their body. It floats just above it and can be pulled off.
- Their box is indestructible and can only be opened by turning the crank on the side. Pop goes the weasel will play as the box unlocks, and the top of the box will spring open at the "Pop!" part of the song, with Popgoes themselves following suit at the same time.
- Their mouth doesn't seem to open but they eat anyway somehow.
- Occasionally laughter has been heard coming from their box. It's unknown if it's coming from them or not.
- Their box seems to appear most commonly around people who are upset in some way.
