Lifty is a 19 year old genasi. She was raised by the finest swordsmen, that being her own parents, who taught her the way of the sword. A family full of genasi warriors, going all the way back to their ancestors. They also run a school for swordsmen which is extremely intense and not for the faint of heart. She was the hieress to this until her namesake was taken from her and she was kicked out of the family. She was also extremely rich.

She is extremely kind and loyal to anyone who will give her the time of day. She tries to be a people pleaser, but also has an attitude problem.

She lived in a rich, noble household. Her family runs a school to train people how to use the blade and where it's at, it's a very privileged school, but they still accept even poor people into their school.

Lifty basically is a pet of the family. Well taken cared of, but abused, but trained like her family and predecessors to be a killer. Her life? She had no purpose. She was a spoiled brat. She had everything. Her parents only wanted male children and she was cursed being a female. Her brother gets more attention and affection than her. He even can carry on the family name. Their legacy. Lifty was abused right up to the day she lost her priviledge to her actual birth name, Kazakiri Valentine.

She was forced to fight her brother in a test to see her skill level. In an attempt to beat him, she cheated in the fight, by using her float ability. Her mother caught it and they punished her. Instead of regularly beating her, they took away her name. She was eventually just called some horrific names in between the time she labelled herself as Lifty.

From that fight on, they started putting her through more vigorous trainings. Ones that would potentially kill her if she even stepped the wrong way. She broke two of her fingers, her leg once, and even her arm. They forced her to keep going through the trainings, even with broken bones. She's even suffered concussions.

One day, eventually...they decided that she had enough inhouse training. They wanted her to go out into the world and make the world fear her. If she could prove that she was a natural born killer without a doubt, then they'd potentially give her back her name, not in before they decided to burn their family quote into her back before throwing her outside, in the middle of winter, to fend for herself with very little money. She's also had her brother try to assassinate her more than once. As a test of limber and skill of awareness.

The day of her joining the story, was one of those days. Her brother was told try to assassinate her again. Also, her brother is also subjected to beatings too if he fails in his missions, from what she's gathered from his ramblings whenever he attempts to kill her. He tried to kill her, but failed once again simply because she ran into that man who said she was some hero who would one day save the world. Lifty just wanted something to potentially save her. But she didnt have the trust to believe in her new comrades.

She still doesn't.

She's extremely on edge since her brother is very good as disguising like a woman and still able to kick butt in a dress.
