Ein

A proud feline with the slyness of a fox is how one would describe the individual, Ein.

Stemming from the early days of his childhood, Ein is a man who lives with immense pride, expecting people to treat him with respect and reverence even upon the first meeting. One can quickly catch on with his patronizing vocabulary, topped off with overly affectionate gestures - that he clearly saw everyone as beneath him, like a child watching ants march on the pavement.

Ein always, without exception, puts himself (and at times, his mother) first, prioritising his wants and needs over everything, even if it meant hurting someone or breaking something in the process. Some may find him calculatingly flirtatious, or rather, manipulative - this man has no qualms over amplifying his charms to achieve what he wants. Those who are more observant may find everything Ein says and does seem to have a specific intention behind as if it was a well thought out move on the chessboard - as if the world was his playground; and you were just one of his toys.

Whatever he wanted, he’d fight for it and take it for himself; and whatever he disliked, he ditched. Simple as that. 

Human beings were selfish creatures after all, no? Who’s going to keep at eye out for him other than himself? That’s right. No one.

Under this show of a person, however, is an individual who has been struggling to establish his own place in the world, striving to erect his own throne in a place where someone like him is deemed as the bottom of the trash heap. With next to no security in his life, this workaholic has only known how to build everything with his own hands, without depending on anyone; so when he is offered unconditional kindness, acceptance and tolerance, Ein would be lost on how to comprehend it. He is someone who is constantly, subconsciously, seeking for love; but is incapable of expressing it and taking it in genuinely without a tinge of guilt that would follow soon after.

• Sits on tables.
• Has a habit of staying over at other people's places and mooching off their food.
• Prefers earth tones in his wardrobe. White shirts found in his closet may not necessarily belong to him.
• Hair is very soft to touch. He has tried multiple shampoos and conditioners before he settled on one that he liked the best.
• Has a proper skincare routine and lathers lotion on properly - his skin is soft to touch most of the time.

• Mellowed out. Soft and gentle exterior, affectionate gestures and compliments are still abundant but anything borderline flirtatious is shut down almost immediately with a judging gaze and sharp words, as if your very existence was derogatory to the world.
• Grows up to become a novelist. Specialises in fiction and occasionally writes for a guest column in the local newspaper. He usually just writes about observations in daily life.
• A mix of perfectionism and bad time management makes all nighters an often occurrence. He is not proud of the nights where he needs to drink coffee like water, but he loves his job nevertheless
• Can cook various homely dishes. Nothing too extraordinary nor delicate, but you can tell that love and effort was put into it. Has a hobby of making cute latte art.
