About

Iris is a storyteller. She is known to "enhance" said stories in order to get a point across, teach a lesson, and inspire others. Always for the betterment of the people, of course. She carries with her multiple tomes and folders of scattered papers to document not just her adventures, but the adventures of others.

Embark

It has been eight years since Iris' father, Sorrel, went missing. He was a well known storyteller and musician that spent all his years traveling the world. He was only home for short periods of time, but those times home he spent regaling tales of adventures to Iris and her mother, Kiera. Iris is now trying to follow in his footsteps and hopefully she will find out where his last adventure took him.

Relationships

Sorrel [ Father ]

A famous author and musician who grew up in Waterdeep. He never considered himself much of an adventurer and took to telling the stories of others, turning them into folk heroes. His last adventure took him to Barovia and his family has not seen him since.

Kiera [ Mother ]

A quiet woman who runs a flower shop in Waterdeep. She has a lot of love for Sorrel but could never help but feel a little more betrayed each time he embarked on a new adventure without her. She was always supportive of her only child, Iris, but now with Iris leaving all she wants is someone to stay by her side for once.
