Pathos

Pathos [alt. name: Abyss] | he/him | young adult | SeaWing/NightWing artificial hybrid

Pathos was the first "successful" experiment to hatch another tribe's egg with magically-induced NightWing attributes. The experiments were part of a larger plan to enhance the NightWing race, but poor Pathos was deemed a failure as he had more weaknesses than strengths.

He's a timid, emotional dragon who's a bit of a crybaby. He has very strong empathy for dragons, animals, and inanimate objects alike. He's usually just pathetic enough to instantly garner the trust of anyone who doesn't already have a negative opinion of him, and he uses that to emotionally manipulate others into doing what he wants (or what he thinks they want).

In NightWing spaces, he's known by his experiment name, Pathos. When "posing" as a SeaWing, he prefers to go by Abyss.

hybrid attributes:

• can see in near-complete darkness as well as most dragons can in full sunlight - normal sunlight seems extremely bright to him and causes him pain
• bioluminescent stripes cannot light up individually, only all at once or none at all (physically cannot speak Aquatic)
• no webs on front talons, only on hind
• no fire breath
• faulty gills/cannot breathe underwater, but can hold breath for a long time
