Ethos

Ethos [alt. name: Mesa] | she/her | young adult | MudWing/NightWing artificial hybrid

Ethos was part of a secret NightWing experiment involving hatching other tribes' eggs with magically-induced NightWing attributes. Her egg was calculated to appear at a specific date, and a MudWing informant was sent to deliver the single blood-red egg left in an unattended nest.

Ethos is no-nonsense and always gets straight to the point. She's the kind of dragon who will justify orders with "because I said so." Not many question her authority, and those who patronizingly ask why a MudWing has such a high profile in NightWing society end up regretting it. She has disdain for her "siblings" Pathos and Logos, as she feels they "beat around the bush" when it comes to influencing people.

In NightWing spaces, she's known by her experiment name, Ethos. When "posing" as a MudWing, she prefers to go by Mesa.

hybrid attributes:

• more fireproof than a normal red-egg MudWing, and can swim/rest in lava with little to no pain
• "runs hot" and can breathe fire even when in cold areas
• very large and physically powerful, not the strongest flier
