Zahir

Story

Zahir as a kid was lonely and shy. He wanted to make new friend but he didn't know how to talk with others and was afraid of it. Some kids were mean to him and were bullies, they forced him to doing things which he didn't wanted to do and he was too afraid to stand up to his bullies. Zahir liked to spend time alone without others, the only person he trusted was his mom. One day when Zahir was returning from nature lessons his bullies surrounded him, that day Zahir said that's enough and stand up aganist his bullies but it didn't work and the fight started. There was a scream but it wasn't Zahir's scream, it was an unknown little girl's and boy's scream, they both defended Zahir thanks to their sharp claws and teeth. The girl was called Amira and the boy Faris, and that's how new friendship begun.

Childhood

Zahir, Amira and Faris as a kids liked to climb onto the roofs of the villager's old sheds, sometimes house roofs for different reasons. Sometimes it was just curiosity or fun in the form of a competition to see who will climb faster. They liked to race together, Amira was the fastest and most agile of them. Zahir's and Faris' skills were simmiliar but Faris was winning because of his cleverness although it wasn't a rule. Sometimes they liked to making jokes of ex Zahir's bullies in a secret way, that means they used to doing pranks on them without getting noticed. Zahir, Amira and Faris were creative and they had a lot of ideas for different games and enjoyed spending time together.

Adolescenehood

When they were teens they started stealing camels for fun, their biggest dream was to find an oasis where they could live together without worring about future and society. In the Village where they live, they have a bad reputation to this point, that everyone thinks that every bad events are their fault even it's not true. Zahir always described the animal bones he found in his diary after a successful trip on stolen camels. Angry villagers whose camels were stolen always punished Zahir, Amira and Faris. Their punishment always was doing some agricultural work. Zahir and Faris were doing their tasks without excuses, Zahir liked helping others so it wasn't a big deal for him, Faris didn't liked it all but always finished his taks, meanwhile Amira did her work effortlessly and always she was looking for excuses.

Adulthood

When Zahir was 18, according to tradition, his parents wanted to marry him to an unknown girl. This girl's family offered to share the property, which seemed like a reasonable deal because the family had money and a lot of farm animals. Zahir's family wasn't poor, they were actually on the middle-earning side, they mostly farmed crops and owned one cow. Both families were from the same social sphere, but it would be profitable to combine them. Zahir wasn't happy with the news, he thought it was disgusting to marry someone you didn't know just for money. Zahir stood out in this respect in his village because most men just want to be the head of the family with a beautiful woman. The parents were very disappointed with their son's attitude, they tried to convince him that the wedding was the most beautiful moment in life, that girl that they chosen was beautiful and shapely, that from now on they would have more money. Zahir got into an argument with his parents that day and locked himself in his room. He packed his bags with the most important things, unfortunately he had no place to take his entire collection of bones, he took only the most important things, his diary, pens and ink, wineskin, knife, and took food from the granary. The night he was sneaking out, he would go get his friends, throw stones at their window to wake them up, starting with Amira. Amira woke up and was angry with him for waking her up in the middle of the night. He began to explain the situation to her, and they both decided it was time to make their dreams come true and escape the village in search of an oasis of their own. Convincing Faris was a bit more difficult because he wanted to progress and finish school to be in a high position so that his parents would finally appreciate him. That evening, he was given a chance to run away and never again care if his parents were proud of him or not. At first, he rejected Zahir's offer, saying it was dangerous and that school was more important. However, Zahir and Amira convinced Faris to run away with them and he did. He made a deal with them that he would go on the condition that together they would find a popular scientist with whom he wanted to continue his studies about rocks and their magical properties. He had doubts about whether a stranger would be able to teach him, but at the same time he had nothing to lose because without friends even a high position in the village was meaningless. Thats how their journey started, they travel together and looking for Oasis.
