Kustey

Kustey is a non binary looking girl with swift hands that could probably steal anything from your pockets, and you wouldn't notice until she was too far away to be caught. She's a prick, but a charismatic one. In fact, Kustey is so good at stealing, that she managed to grab the ocean's most important artifact: the soul of a magical sunken ship. For that, she was cursed to live as a body of water. Now, she can only live in the ocean and beaches, where ghost pirates are always trying to catch her. But, hey, she's got some pretty cool powers now, so who cares if you're made out of water?

Kustey can breathe underwater and talk to marine animals. She's also very agile and good with words and swords, but she's deeply scared of being forgotten. All the people she used to know when she lived on land no longer remember her, and she's scared of being completely erased from existance. For that reason, Kustey is always bothering random curious humans that approach the beach chores, challenging them to games and trying to get them to go on adventures with her in the ocean.

Kustey protects the ship's soul with her life. As long as the ship remains with her, she will have her powers, and survive. If the ship is taken away, she will fade into the sea, as just a lifeless body of water. That's why she keeps running away and fighting ghost pirates, whales, krakens, and all kinds of monsters the ocean sends her to protect this precious artefact.
