[ BoLaS ] Verli Nightbloom

so I finished the Book and I have some feels that I'm exploiting because I'm a fecking idiot
please don't get attached to her cause angst ensues

• Verli Nightbloom from House Nightbloom 
• her and Raine are blood-related to one another since they're both from House Nightbloom, while Kade is an adoptive brother, she thinks of him as blood
• she's 20 years old (elven equivalent) and stand at 5'6"
• she's skilled in archery and uses a bow and arrows, but she also has a small short sword with her in case she runs out of arrows 
• when she gets nervous or on edge, she tends to spin an arrow between her fingers as a way to calm her nerves but it doubles as a cool trick when she loads it into her bow
• she can be a bit flashy when it comes to fighting, as shown while fighting on the Sun Maiden when she stood on the ledge of the ship and dodged attacks from both pirate and Grobtar attacks
• as an Elf, she possesses incredible senses, better eyesight and hearing, as well as the ability to use magic (although she can't use any spells despite Tyril and Nia trying to teach her)
• she's skilled in Seduction, Deception as well as Beastmaster and Medicine
• because she has the skill Beastmaster, she's able to communicate with animals as well as monsters. She's also knowledgeable about local wildlife behavior and can read animal tracks.
• Verli's been known to drop some seeds of wisdom from time to time, often giving advice to those who need it
• with the Seduction skill, she can seduce anyone no matter race, gender or sexuality- she's very good at it to the point it's hypnotic, which comes in handy down the line

  • In Chapter 16, she ends up seducing him and distracting him with a kiss to get close enough to attack him, to which she stabbed him
  • She ends up dying because of this, leaving herself open and vulnerable because of her feelings towards him but she did it to protect Raine and her friends, as well as Kade who was severely injured
  • She got stabbed by a Shadow Guard through the stomach, but managed to kill him before she lost her strength to do so
  • Imagine her staring into his eyes, telling him that she'd do anything to be with him and him believing that she still wanted to be with him after all he'd done, only for her to stab him and burst into tears as she cups his cheeks in her palms
  • Does he die from getting stabbed though? If not, Raine's about to make it happen, on God
  • In Chapter 14 after Aerin shows his true colors, Mal tells the others he saw Verli kiss Aerin at the lake in the Deadwood
