Additional Info: Hence the name, came in contact with intense radiation after an explosion from a plant near her home over 200 years ago. The blast killed everyone in the town except her. She was able to get back up and start living again, leaving behind her young daughter, who was presumed dead/missing. Her body was completely different, and unrecognizable. The hair on her body had been burnt off, her mane had become static and always stood up, her skin was charred, and she discovered that her body had changed to run off bio chemicals and deadly toxins, including radiation. Her red blood was mostly gone, only radiated vessels and white blood cells remained. Her skin feels like a coal-y rough sandpaper despite having a smooth appearance, her hair feels and looks like a razor, and her pointy sensors, or ears, electrically shock living matter to the touch. Her tail hair had also been burned away, and leaves only the stem of the tail.
Behavioral changes were major. Instead of always moving and grazing like a normal pony does, Radiated tends to stand or sit in one spot for most of the day with her eyes closed, then move far distances at nightfall. This is because her pupils can't shrink to block out light, so she can't see well in brightly lit environments. She finds herself to see much better in the dark. She depends on her ears much more than any other sense. Even going as far as to walk around with her eyes closed, sensing where objects and animals are as she travels. Radiated lost the ability to speak and make fast movements such as running, but in exchange, her other abilities have increased.
She has a much higher intelligence, strong sense of smell, incredible hearing, electromagnetic sensing, endurance, strength, stamina, and system immunity than the average pony. No, she is not undead. Her brain still works just like it used to, just uses more of itself now.
She is a radiated pony who lives mainly in deserted areas unfit for organism survival. She feels that she needs to isolate herself in order to keep other things safe from suffering like she did. Not everything about living radiation is negative, though.
Negative effects:
Coughing up strong acid, feeling random burning sensations when she consumes anything other than toxic things, always feeling hot, being unable to socialize with other animals nor trees, smelling like combustion, and toxic breath that smells like strong chemical fumes.
Positive effects:
Stronger immune system, stronger body, immunity to poisonous or toxic chemicals, tough skin, hyper speed movements, intimidation by heating body up to make veins glow, extremely accelerated healing, toxic saliva, much greater endurance, and immunity to knock back and fire.
Despite having hyper speed, Radiated moves slow, and is mostly inanimate. Her behavior is similar to a reptile. She needs heat to survive, and movement patterns are very still. Even in these docile moments, she is fully aware of her surroundings. More aware than when she is moving.
