Mariposa

Mortals are odd beings to Mariposa- so weak and pathetic and yet still here. Isn’t it kind of her to help them ascend to so much more than just surviving? Of course, it’s a slow progress, and it takes convincing to really progress, but all will be worth it in the end. What was the human phrase? “No pain, no gain?” They might be a little upset at the hurt, but with time they’ll understand. She can be patient, it’s almost time.
