Aleena is an anthropomorphic hedgehog. In her original story, Legend, she is the third main protagonist and the final main character of the tale. She is not necessarily a hero, but has her own unique role. Some of the story is told from her point of view, but not much.

In the kingdom of Modred, Aleena is the Princess; the only daughter of King Spencer and Queen Azalea, and next in line for the throne. Though she is a princess, her behavior would say otherwise. Unlike most princesses, she is sassy, spunky and full of attitude. Aleena doesn't take well to the "be seen and not heard" thing for the women of royalty, so she is the one to be outright and normally very blunt about her opinions. It's this mental and spiritual freedom that makes other princesses jealous of her and, surprisingly, makes most princes want to be with her. 

She's got a heavily set sense of adventure and can be a bit of a daredevil, which tends to get her in trouble a lot. Aleena may not really have any powers (that's she's aware of, at least *wink wink*) but she does have an unnatural awareness to other's emotions and an uncanny ability sense the truth/right thing, normally from the first time she encounters it. She's an interesting one, as she can be the voice of reason and also need a voice of reason.
