Dutiful and brave pilot who's who's plane got shot down during a war against diesel powered machines and was declared deceased despite his remains or proof of his demise was never found. Even his  plane vanished, only for both of them to mysteriously surface again several decades later in modern era. Sure he was alive but he wasn't the human or even the man he used to be. With several decades worth of lost memories and no ideas what happened to him he tries his best to adjust into the modern world by settling into a small coastal town and doing what he does best, flying. Pretty much lives in a old warehouse outskirts of the town along a canal that leads to the sea
