the truth is , the eye controls riley - its almost like a parasitic relationship in which the eye uses riley as a host so it doesnt die . riley still has control over his body , however the eye has "dulled" his personality so he doesnt stand out in any way ; so its not noticed . it really didnt need to do that because he wasnt very exciting before the fact but it doesnt really care
