Similar to her daughter, Lena is regal and formal, holding herself up with a sense of self respect and authority. However she has grown bitter and angry at her daughter for usurping her position and shamelessly bowing to Lotharius. Lena is desperate to regain her position as the Head of the family and help Atrimo grow, but has been shut down countless times.

The former Head of the Chandra Family, disgraced and thrown down the rankings when Lotharius took power. She still proudly stands by Atrimo, but a great majority of the Empire's government stands by Lotharius. Her relationship with her daughter is fraught with argument and Indra's resistance to listening to any of her advice. Many officials in the Charity District, and even servants or civilians view her as an eccentric woman who has lost her touch.
