Michio Sasaki (Anathema)

Sasaki, Michio has always been the type to disappear into the background of everyone else's lives. Even while growing up, he often got forgotten by his parents. They would sometimes even forget to set out a plate for him at the family's dinner table, his much livelier younger siblings taking up most of their attention. But he never minded; honestly, it was how he preferred things. To be left to his own devices.

Independent from the very beginning, he's never needed anyone for anything. With a home life like his, he had to be. But he didn't ever carry any hard feelings or resentment toward his mother and father. No, he loved him dearly. Even now, he writes to them. Glad to send updates or receive any.

A quiet, introverted soul, he's lived out most of his dreams of adventure through books. It's been his favorite hobby since he was young; reading. Too soft and too easily frightened of the dangers that skulk around in the outside world, Michio prefers to read from someone else's point of view than go out and experience it for himself. Of course, there's also the fact that he hates dirt, but that's less known.

He doesn't come from any noble blood, but one might think otherwise upon first impression of him. Primly, Michio is a refined gentleman who takes pride in his gentility. But quiet and reserved, especially when caught in a crowded room, most people will perceive him as condescending, which is untrue. It's just that, as an introvert, being around lots of people can make him nervous.

However, he can be fairly charming when placed under less strenuous social situations.

Hardly the most courageous; he's a bit mousy when spooked. Pretty much scared of just about everything imaginable, he'll start fretting before he's ever even left out of his house. Some might refer to this as paranoia, and more than likely, it is. But don't try and convince him of it because, according to him, he's merely taking the proper precautions. Also easily cowed, Michio is quick to fold when pressed by anyone taller, stronger, or meaner than him.
