Clemency 🎲

CHARACTER SHEET

Ever since she was little, Clemency has admired the noble paladins of Helm that have guarded her small village. So much so that she applied to their prestigious Academy, herself! [...name of academy still tbd lol naming things is hard.] Though not a natural-born fighter by any stretch, she was nevertheless recruited into the Academy's Cleric ranks, thanks to a yet-undiscovered talent for magic.  At the Academy, Clerics are given a well-rounded education alongside Paladins before being dispatched throughout the world once their training is complete. Clem's knack for academic study and willingness to persevere to learn most anything helped her excel in every subject, though it isolated her somewhat from most of her peers...

Now, Clemency wants nothing more than to gain practical real-world experience, which she believes is the only thing left she has left to learn. It's also the only thing the Academy can't teach her, and she can't wait for graduation! Clem just wants to get out there and HELP people, gosh darn it, even if she has to convince her professors to let her do it a little early!

...which, somehow, she does! Yippee!!! But her first mission is proving to be much more treacherous than her school training has led her to believe it would be. Prodigious skills and a formidable team of fellow adventurers by her side will only go so far; only time will tell if Clem is truly as ready as she thinks she is.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

• Smallish, but toned (5'4", 140lbs)
• Hair is curly and bright yellow-orange
• Eyes are the same color as her hair, with cat-eye pupils
• Skin is canary yellow with a spattering of freckles
• Horns are curled into tangerine-peel twists
• Rarely seen out of her Academy cleric uniform, and even more rarely without a (matching) headband to keep her hair in place

PERSONALITY

• Teacher's pet; eager to please & straight-laced
• Will introduce herself promptly, and WILL do a curtsy
• Follows the lead of elder/wiser folks, or at least those she deems more authoritative/knowledgeable than herself
• Prone to squeamishness; she can handle a manner of topics in an academic or theoretical setting but the Real World is a bit much for her
• Slightly manipulative when it comes to trying to get her own way or to get others to do things for her
• Hard on herself, takes responsibility for the entire group's well-being. It's her job!!!
• Thinks animals are neat
• Gives others the benefit of the doubt, often to a fault

TRIVIA/DESIGN NOTES

• Started out as an orange gijinka. In case that wasn't obvious lol
• Her favorite food is the ginger snaps her mother bakes her for her birthday
• Her name was one of the names I originally tossed around as possibilities for Poise
