Sharad

Sharad is an Alder (Alder = Elf in the setting) who travels with Tarrin, Talik and Yalin through the world and later meets up with Cerine and Marive due to Tarrin having taken on a special adventure job. Adventures are explores, mercenaries and exterminators of magical „pests“. They work either alone or in groups and can be hired in various cities.

About him:

• 210cm/6'11"
• is very full of himself and has very high self esteem
• is loud and doesn't hold back banter especially if it would be advisable to remain silent
• is a capable sword fighter but wields his sword more like a hammer
• has lost his right ear due to an accident
• colors the hair on the right front black to accentuate his missing ear
• can't speak Alderian (the language of his kind) very well and can neither read nor write it
• has an older brother called Franion and a younger sister called Velinessa
• is bisexual and loves to flirt although he's often to blunt and over the top for anyone to reciprocate
• shows affection through teasing
• his nickname is Shira (Alder names work like Russian names with the given name and a nickname / some Alder nicknames are also used as given names)

About his inventory:

• his cape is woven of Steelspider silk and is able to withstand almost all non-magical weapons
• has always the ingredients for his hair color in his bag

Relationships:

With Cerine:

• finds her interesting (especially her being a necromancer)
• flirts with her not only because he finds her attractive but also to get under Marive's skin
• wants her to teach him about magic but she always refuses

With Marive:

• loves to tease him, especially for his size
• tries to get him out of his shell (by flirting with Cerine)
• flirts also with him
• gets (much later in the story) a major shock that he teased and was mean to the rightful heir of the Alder Throne (still, it doesn't change his attitude...)

With Tarrin:

• respects her but since Sharad is Sharad he shows it in his own way
• likes to annoy her
• was hired by her a long time ago as a temporary help but befriended her on their journey
