Arel is constantly on the lookout. If there's confusion, a rumour or concerns within the group - they can usually trust that Arel has a hunch or gut instinct on it. He takes great care around those close to him and in turn always pays close attention to their day to day lives on instinct.
Arel isn't great at expressing emotions; when someone does something he isn't expecting or he gets tackled into a hug by someone he's comfortable with, Arel can easily get embarrassed or bashful between his complaints.

Summary
Arel doesn't pay attention to the criticism or taunts of others nor does he take them sitting down. Arel will be more than happy to throw back the bark when others snap at him, so if you're not a fan of those who talk back, Arel is not the one you want to mess with.
A bit of a smart ass, Arel practically has the answer to everything. And if he doesn't? Well, he'll work it out. Arel is careful to give only points he does truly believe in and feels is correct. Otherwise, he'll take the time to confirm his beliefs and work out what answer is correct. That, or just prove you wrong. He'll be satisfied either way.
Arel is exceptionally observant. He doesn't always mention or comment on what he does or doesn't see. He's usually quite aware of his surroundings and keeps a close eye during situation he's uncomfortable in.

• Being a know-it-all, when he happens to get something wrong, Arel can sometimes have a bit of a mope. He doesn't yell, complain or whine - he just goes off for a bit of time by himself, settling down and have a little huff.

Colt
Colt and Arel don't really talk much. In most cases, they seek out the other's company to get away from the commotion of the group. They're both equally reserved and generally enjoy just watching the shennanigans of the jungle bunch. Arel likes to discuss his thoughts and observations with Colt, in comparison to how Colt is usually viewed as an older figure, Arel seems him on level pegging. Arel is younger than Colt, but since he matured far more in comparison to Alo he often appreciates the views of likely the most mature member of their group. Arel doesn't always agree with Colt's response to certain issues, but at times he has to admire the very blunt and upfront nature. When it comes to judging people though, Arel and Colt tend to be quite on the ball about suspicious first impressions making the duo quite protective of the group.
