Story
I. Powers Awaken
Dakota grew up more or less on the streets by themselves. They found they had a nack for pickpocketing and stealing in genral. So they stuck to what they knew, stealing what they needed to make ends meet in Ninjago, but when the Great Devourer was killed and New Ninjago was built, something changed. With so much new technology in the city something inside of them had awoken. She could feel it, all of it, every bit of technology that was now everywhere. It was extremely overwhelming to begin with, so many screaming siginals saying different things. After some time they found how to control it, even begining to figure out that they could talk back to it, asking it to do things for them. When Dakota first started to take control of their powers, they needed to be physically touching any piece of technology they wished to take control of.
The Overlord
Things started to go down hill for Dakota again when The Overlord took over Ninjgo. They made the horrifying discovered that she couldn't control the Nindroid Army like she could with other technology, no matter how hard they tried. This lead to them losing their arm on a stormy night trying to out run the Nindroids. This lead to Dakota going into hidding for a few years.
II. New Year, New Me
A year and a new robotic arm later Dakota had all but mastered their skills. They discovered that to controle technology with either intelligence or highly complicated CPUs they needed to be touching it. Things like cameras, vehicles and most laptops were the easiest to control. This lead Dakota to steping up their stealing game, which lead to Dakota to be sort out and hired by people who wanted to use her skills for themselves. More then happy to take the jobs for the right price helped Dakota gain a pretty comfortable life. One job even lead to them finally meeting their idol Ronin.
Gaining a Mentor & A real Job
Turns out that Dakota and Ronin work really well together, being hired for the same job over the course of a few months let the two become closer. Ronin started teach Dakota in different ways to improve their workflow and in return Dakota helped out Ronin whenever the older man needed it. Though turning into a kind of mentor for Dakota the two liked to fight and make bets a LOT. When hired for a job the two would race and fight to see who could accomplished it first. Through out this time, Dakota would spend most of their off time at Dareth's bar. Getting to know Dareth eventually lead to them getting offered a job as a bartender, which Dakota was more then happy to take. For the most part Dakota works under Dareth, but on the Day of the Departed Dakota takes full control of the bar. keeping it open for those who have no one to remember or just simply don't want to be apart of the festivities.
Making a Friend
After a crazy few months Garmadon was gone (again) and the one princess Harumi was dead. Ninjago was back on clean up an rebuild mood, trying to fix everything that was destroyed thanks to the Sons of Garmadon. Dakota joined in on the clean up, and was suprised to find the helmet of Mr.E and was even more to find wires coming from it. Dakota quickly gather up the rest of his pieces and spent the next month fixing him up. When he finaly came back online things did not go smoothly, it took a long time for E to fully trust Dakota. But eventually they started a friendship, with E joing Dakota on some theif jobs or simply accompanying them at Dareth's Bar. The two slowly started seeing each other like family.
