Profile

Class: Foreigner

Attribute: Earth

Traits: FGO Newcomer, Humanoid, Servant, Genderless, Demon, Demonic, Earth or Sky, Lawful Neutral, Weak to Enuma Elish

Passive Skills
Existence Outside the Domain (C)
Gains 2 critical stars every turn.
Increases own debuff resistance by 6%.

An intrinsic skill of every Foreigner. The Boogeyman’s mediocre rank in this skill is due to two factors: his status as a well-known legend, and the fact that his equivalent to most other Foreigners’ “elder gods” is himself. Still, his inherent fearsomeness keeps this skill’s rank afloat.
Magic Resistance (C+)
Increases own debuff resistance by 15.5%.
Presence Concealment (C-)
Increases own critical star generation rate by 5.5%.
The Boogeyman’s smoky form makes him difficult to detect under specific circumstances.
Appearance and Art Direction
Stage 1
A silhouette of a scrawny individual with a flowing dress and messy hair.
Stage 2
Black flames emerge from the end of the Boogeyman’s “dress.” Part of the darkness over his face is gone, revealing the Boogeyman’s white hair and skin, as well as one red, almond-shaped eye.
Stage 3
The flames have become colored like real fire. The Boogeyman’s face is revealed. He has no mouth or nose. Instead, his face is covered with eyes of varying size. The sides of his head are littered with black “veins,” as if he is being absorbed by the darkness that cloaks him.
Final Ascension
The Boogeyman is depicted at a Dutch Angle, staring down at something. He has his design from his second stage, but the fires around him have the colors that they have in his third stage. Although only one eye can be seen on the Boogeyman’s face, his expression is clearly one of both boredom and exhaustion, with perhaps a bit of disgust.

Personality
The Boogeyman is perpetually deadpan, which makes him unintentionally blunt. He simply doesn’t care about being polite.
He is ashamed that he lives to terrify young children, but believes that it is his sole reason for existing (given the legend he was born out of, he’s right, but it’s still an unhealthy way of viewing things). As such, he has issues with self-love, viewing himself as a monster (again, he literally is, but that’s not the point) incapable of doing good. The Boogeyman gets a thrill out of being summoned because he is allowed to fight for others and do something other than scare people.
The Boogeyman half-heartedly attempts to serve as a source of wisdom for other Servants (or at least common sense), but is usually ignored or dismissed in this regard. He tends to expect this kind of treatment, which is why he doesn’t try harder to get people to listen to him. However, if one puts effort into being friendly with him, he will reciprocate the feelings ten-fold (not that he would admit it).
Trivia
While pretending to be human, he claims that his birthday is October 31st, 1987, which would make him 32 years old.
