Yaroslav used to live in a pretty small town, one where everyone knew each other. Then one day at a tavern, he meets Rose, befriending her and eventually falling in love with her. They never marry, but have one daughter, Chamomile.
After Rose is revealed to be a horrible human being, the cause of so much misery and trauma to others, some of which he has met — he scorns her, takes his daughter and leaves.
Now, his closest friends are those that she’d hurt, and all of them are good companions to each other and he’s very happy to have met them.
He’s also a loving, caring father to Chammy and loves her very much.
