they are a synthetic holobiont: an ecological unit. sweeper is part of a consortia — a collection of symbiotic organisms modified to complete a function. specifically, they are in a symbiotic relationship with the "anemoi" strain: created to enhance pulmonary function and mime the function of a respiratory system at ymir station.

born with weak lungs and a pessimistic affect. very low-energy, even on the job. while "volunteering" has allowed them to manage their most detrimental symptoms, they haven't quite developed past their borderline-hypochondriac personality and have a tendency for both lethargy and neurosis. tends to catastrophize and then fall asleep.
