Over the past three years, an American acapella group named “The SideNotes” was formed, becoming one of the most successful teen acapella groups the world has ever seen. Winning a local competition and then going on to win a national competition, followed by coming in third in an international one.
With fantastic harmonies and their unique, fun covers of popular songs to listen to. The group consists of five members. Two tenors, a bass, a baritone and a vocal percussionist.
Ever since their start, the bass of the group - Julian Douglas, nineteen year old - immediately stood out to their fans. Sure, all singers were good, but even just when their group was starting out people commented about Julian’s incredible range and he was often seen as the face of the group, despite not being the actual lead of most songs.
As the group’s fanbase grew larger and larger and they started getting more fame, the quality of their songs and vocals only got better and better. Their fanbase became international and they even had a world tour once that was regarded as highly successful.
With Julian receiving the title of the Ultimate Bass, the popularity of their group only rose more because if one of the members of said group is considered “the best in his field”, it must mean their group is absolutely outstanding. Which, in the eyes of their fans, they are.
