Peridot. Often nicknamed by their protectee Aki as Peri, Perry (he insists there's a difference), Pear, Dot, Dottie, P. Dislikes being nicknamed by anyone except for Aki (they find Aki endearing).

Peridot is genderless and uses all pronouns but mostly they/their. However, they don't really mind when people misgender them since they kind of flow through life and really is only here to protect Aki.

They don't even know, to be honest. It's a little irritating when Aki cries "You're an old person, P! You don't dictate what I do!" since they're nOT. They know they're actually considerably young but don't know how young they are.

Very motherly and protective of Aki. Dislikes people who hurt their lil bab. Generally a kind, forgiving, loving soul but has never been able to get over people who hate beanies. They hate beanies 100%.

Peridot is a genderless, flowing ghost thing that currently acts as a spirit guardian for Aki. After dying God knows how long ago, Peridot kept wandering endlessly (not truly wanting to leave the Earth) until they came upon a little creature that could see them and seemed very friendly--Aki. They became fast friends and Peridot is determined to protect Aki because they think they're a precious little bab who is too beautiful for the world.
They are aromantic and asexual.
Peridot forms strong emotional connections with anyone who is nice to them, which is why Aki was a quick friend ;u; They're just very happy to be friends with anyone who wants to be friends with them. Essentially Peridot just likes having a lot of very close friends.
likes. Peridot likes cherry blossoms and lamps. They have an odd obsession with collecting lamps, which is somewhat difficult because they don't have a material form. They just kinda ask Aki to go and buy some lamps every other day and Aki does it because he loves helping other people. Peri also loves cherry blossoms but their love of cherry blossoms is more of a gentle admiration than an obsession.
dislikes. Peridot hATES it when people hate on Aki. Aki is their favorite person in the world and they get overly protective of the little bab. Peridot also dislikes being called a nickname by other people. Although only about a fifth of the general population can see Peri right now, a lot of them seem to insist on calling them a nickname. Peridot hates nicknames except for when Aki gives them.
