POWERS

Reliquaries: (Until I come up with a better name for them) Reliquaries are sentient magical vessels through which magic users harness their powers, although it is not the source of their magic.  They attach bonds to with a singular magic user for that user's lifetime or until they give up on magic.  They come in many forms, ranging from the classic spellbook or magical staff, to the occasional familiar (though this is rare for organic life is unsustainable), all the way up to the modern, such as computers and cell phones.  They can be as mundane as a pair of glasses, or as fanciful as a crystal ball.  The object itself isn't what is magical, but it is the vessel for the sentient being inside.

Rosebud: Rosebud is a reliquary taking the form of a smart phone.  It formerly belonged to Callista, but in a move rather unheard of among reliquaries, it abandoned her and sought out Trixie to attach itself to.  Being a smart phone, Rosebud is like a spellbook, a magic wand, and a spell manager all in one, as well as functioning the same as any smartphone.  It has similar vulnerabilities as a regular smartphone as well, as it is prone to shattering or getting waterlogged, as well as possibly developing viruses.  Trixie has equipped it with protection charms in the shape of mundane cell phone charms to prevent breaking or soaking. These must be renewed periodically.

Education: Studied witchcraft and magic under Callista for 6 years; some online college courses; studied dream magic under Z

Background:  When Trixie, nicknamed Bee at the time, was 12, she discovered a cell phone laying in a park (or somewhere public, tbd) while she was with her best friend Patience.  She picked it up and tried to find who it belonged to, but it informed her it now belonged to her and that she was a witch.  From there, she began to learn magic, though originally was opposed by Rosebud's original owner, Callista who fought her at many turns trying to get Rosebud back.  As Trixie learned the magic, she tried to teach it to Patience magic.  She met her other friends, Inna, Caspian, and Ember

FRIENDS

Patience Pellegrino (Deceased) — Trixie and her met when they were in 1st grade, and were thick as thieves right up until the moment she died.  A very persistent and hard-working girl, she worked her butt off to be able to use magic, learning at first through Trixie's help, she eventually found her own reliquary to harness her own magic.  She sacrificed herself to save Trixie and her friends from Axius, therefore defeating the evil sorcerer.  

Inna Barclay (former friend, now enemy) — Inna was always incredibly intelligent and good at logic puzzles.  He was sort of a nerd, but was basically an average teenage boy, into anime and thinking he was deeper than he really was.  (High intelligence stat, low wisdom stat.) He always had a low-key crush on Trixie.  And by low-key, I mean he was a total beardless-neckbeard who was sort of stalker-y (probably had his reliquary look like a katana during combat, definitely wore a trench coat... still developing him).  Despite having known he was a magic user from when he was younger, his magic was never as strong as Trixie's which both enraged him and made him more attracted to her.  It stayed mostly as him harmlessly pining for her from the shadows.  It got to the point where she thought they were really close friends, and he thought they were in a relationship.  He would eventually s*xually assault her. (He meets a bad fate, but I'm not yet sure if he is alive or dead).  

Caspian Strome — Caspian and Inna were initially best friends.  His magical specialty is water based. Also a huge anime weeb, he is half Japanese, half black.  He very much is like Trixie's older brother, protective and sweet.  He grew up and fell in love with Ember.

Ember Hightower-Strome — Ember is a hyper intelligent girl who writes and constructs spells to sell.  She has always been able to come up with new magic, breaking barriers.  She's quick-witted and very perceptive, and can come off as a bitch sometimes, but is really very loyal and accepting of her friends.  She proposed to Caspian. 

Lucas — Died being a dumbass
