Something of a solitary figure, Bough is nonetheless respected within the town, and usually manages to avoid whatever mischief or drama runs afoot these days. This marks a significant departure from the wilder years of his youth.

Bough rocked up to town the picture of a brooding, mysterious young loner, and one with a guitar to boot - was it so surprising that Hollyheath instantly fell for him? Searching for acceptance and stability following his exile from home, Bough dated her for long enough to end up with Mocha, their only daughter, but the pair eventually agreed that they really were better off as friends. Nowadays, they’re inseparably close, even though Bough insists on living in a run-down cabin at the very edge of the woods, providing firewood for the town, as well as high-quality bespoke furniture and musical instruments.

Following a plea from his sister’s family, Bough is now also housing Blitzen, his stubborn, slightly snooty nephew, as well as mentoring Chiptune, the town’s resident musical prodigy. Both are very close with Mocha, who loves her dear old dad very much.
