History
BackstoryBrïs hadn't lived this life for very long, but what he had lived was eventful. He was tasked by the Summer Court to improve relations between the Sidhe and the Empire of Nibelhiem. While attempts at an improved relationship were made, Nibelhiem lashed out and drove him and his party from the capital, sending airships after them to either remove them from the country, or kill.
As he was traveling, Brïs heard a voice in his head. They claimed to have known him, and even gave his true name as a show that they were telling the truth. They wanted to meet with him, and wanting to find out more about this mysterious person he accepted the offer.
He went to Ellara, at a tavern within the walls of the capital, the place they were supposed to meet. The conditions were that it be a public place, and that they both be alone. He left his party members outside the establishement, and sitting in a corner was a Winter Sidhe who immediately clocked him and gestured his approach. They introduced themself - Albion - and bombarded him with questions. He answered some, but left many vague; he wasn't sure he trusted this person who knew all too much about him. He stayed for a time, but made his move to leave, prompting Albion to offer franticly a chance to regain his memories, as they supposedly had done. He paused, still wary, but also interested. He offered to stay a while longer if they could prove it. A few moments later, a being who introduced herself as Hlal appeared as if out of thin air, confirming Albion's promise. There was warning that it could be a painful process, but he accepted regardless.
Everything immediately after was a blur: he vividly knew pain, it consumed him completely, and was overwhelmed by images of his past lives, and a very long time of loneliness and sorrow and a deeper pain. Everything was dark for a while, and then he woke up.
Brïs remembered everything now.
Other InformationHe was made a noble very quickly after his spirit was reborn as a 'reward' for the work he did in his previous life, as well as to congratulate him for finally making it home after tens of thousands of years away (unknown to him). He recieved his position as a court envoy very soon after that.
