Patient . Merciful . Fond

Aeron is one of the High Gods of Torrania. High Gods differ from other gods simply for being one of the first to be created. After Diya and Miktia were born, their combination of light and shadows eventually brought life to the cold world of Torrania. With life came the goddess, Damia, and appearing soon after was Aeron. They are the fifth, and final, high god. Despite being the last of the high gods, they hold power over all other beings, including the Father of Gods. Life cannot last forever and thus they will exist, until the universe consumes all. They will outlast all beings until they too must die.

Although they are the God of Death, they are not a heartless being and hold fondness for those that deny them. They don't mind letting those mortals go and live on another day, because they know that the person will come to them eventually. When life gets too painful, they will be there to sooth the pain and collect them. They are at peace with such information, so no matter how much a person will rage against them, they will patiently wait.

They hold a particular affection for mortals, so much so that at one time they took on a partner. They loved their partner very much and even had a child with them, said child becoming a Demigod. Aeron loves their son dearly and cannot regret having him, but having a mortal lover had been the most difficult period of Aeron's long life. They watched their lover grow old, become feeble and suffer through the effects of a long lived life. However, Aeron didn't want to reap them because they couldn't follow them into the realm of death. Aeron only ended up doing so when it was begged of them, and for a time, it ruined the god emotionally.
