Blue Mallow is very much not a pony, and comes from the same far place as Zecora. She had travelled initially due to the Zebra coming to Ponyville, but soon foud the company of the ponies around her comforting. Even if Blue is a bit taller than the average pony, she does her best to make everyone around her comfortable. She is often found assisting anyone who needs help.

Blue Mallow is often shy and quiet around ponies, mostly settling in on watching others before deciding to speak up. She can be very sweet and concerned for others, and seems to always be pondering on something in one way or another. She helps balances out Speckle's chaotic energy and always seems to be calm. And unlike Zecora she doesn't speak in rhymes, but often speaks a bit too soft.
