Elwyn has only known the world encased within Winter's Retreat, and while he enjoys some of the children there he has never felt at home. He worked as a waiter at a cafe, living his life day by day. He had a bad habit of fantasizing about the stories a friend who traveled would tell him (even while he was at work, got in trouble for that a few times). Said friend would visit him every time they made a stop at Winter's Retreat and tell Elwyn of their travels and allow his curiosity to grow. On one such trip they finally asked Elwyn to join them and in celebration they gave Elwyn Silvia, a small rabbit-like creature found near Light's Lament. Now the three travel together, letting Elwyn's curiosity both grow and be sated, though subconsciously he just looking for a place that feels like home.

Elwyn is a huge scardey-cat, terrified of almost everything at first meeting, his curiosity tends to overcome it and a plethora of questions will spill from his mouth. The most obvious sign of Elwyn being scarred (or under extreme amounts of stress) is his antlers appearing while in human form, otherwise, he seems to have great control over his ability to stay human. He also tends to keep his ice as he loves it, though it does tend to wear thin under his feet/hooves as he walks and it's also irritating to sleep with. He's an energetic ball of energy now that he's free to wonder and he loves to learn about the things, and children, he comes across.

Elwyn tends stay and a casual sort of dress, as he not a big fan of formal or formal-like clothes (he does like the look of them though).
