My AntLion OC! Antlions are from Terraria and are found in desert biomes. They are usually burrowed into the sand with their heads out of the sand and fangs ready.
AntLions have no gender, but do have pronouns. Formica's pronouns are she/her.
She has a normal form, and a blood moon form. Blood moons happen quite rarely, every month or two. But during the event, her strength and capabilities rise in skill. She doesn't lose her mind, but does grow a stronger itch to kill things and has higher aggression levels.
Formica doesn't like to hurt humans, but will do what she can if any of them threaten her. She absolutely hates slimes. And the worst part is that when she kills them, the gel gets all stuck in her fangs, so she developed a habit of cleaning them. Her stomach can easily digest them, though.
Each boss in the Terraria world respawns after about a week. Every creature gets it's chance to battle. Formica once challenged the great Queen Bee. If Formica won, she could have three quarters of the Queen's entire hive. If the Queen won, she could turn Formica into her worker until she was defeated again. Luckily, that poisonous tail of hers saved the day. The Queen Bee's eyes were her weak spot, and in the middle of jumping out of her grasp, Formica's spiky tail released spores on instinct, and caught The Queen off guard. Her eyes watering and stinging, she was stunned just long enough for Formica to make her move. She ran up to the fallen Queen, jumped as high as she could, and aimed for her wing. Once she got ahold of it, she pulled with all her strength, and the wing was pulled right off! Know that the Queen was about five times the size of an elephant, and this task was far from easy! The removal of that wing rendered flying useless for the Queen. Now, Formica had all the advantage on the ground. Soon enough, she burrowed down into the hive underneath her, and dug her way through right underneath the Queen's fragile abdomen, and jumped out, tearing through her entire body from the bottom up with her fangs and claws. Dirty job, but she was defeated before taking another step. Formica announced a good match fought, and went ahead to take her share of the hive. Which means the worker bees moved those quarters of the hive wherever she desired, altogether. She ordered them to move it right down into a hole she dug in the ground right before the big fight.
So as of now, Formica lives in a beehive with many bee servants, somewhere underground in the desert. She is omnivorous, and prefers plants and sweet food much over any flesh. She also has a little ocean music box she found that she keeps playing in her home. She wishes to find an ocean someday, and see what wonderful creatures wander out there. She treats her home biome neutrally. She doesn't love or hate the desert, but she would much prefer it over the Jungle.
She hates Maneaters.
