Profile

Fatescar:

Quick Trait List:     Manipulative, theatrical, predatory, observant, thoughtful, patient, ambitious, disarming, cheerful, and charismatic.

Personality:

  • An ancient and terrible being that was before time and space, Fatescar is a humanoid eldritch abomination who seeks to bring change and growth to others. Enigmatic and always seeking new experiences, Fatescar spends his time wandering realities while bringing change with the assistance of his Vassals...or in the world of Theatrum, within the capitol of Duskham while monitoring and subtly encouraging his citizens to grow.
  • With all this in mind, despite his immense power he  absolutely loathes to force anyone to do anything. As in, he always ensures whoever he is dealing with has no one to blame but themselves if things go well or horribly wrong.
  • Fatescar finds action without purpose to be terribly droll and absolutely distasteful. You'll never find him pointless destroying something or picking on someone...unless he has motivation and reason to do so.
  • He is terribly charismatic and charming, complimenting, flirting, encouraging and praising others. All so that they have greater confidence in themselves...or to drive a nail of self doubt deep within them if they ever fail.
  • Despite his theatrical nature, all the flair comes out when he does big reveals or does things with certain cinematic timing. In fitting with how he's an utterly unknowable eldritch abomination, his predatory goals and wants flow quietly beneath all his genuine charm and well meaning behavior. Simply due to how he sees no reason to be actively cruel or unkind, to flaunt just how much more powerful he is than everyone else. Because he already knows it.
  • He sees every experience as a positive one, as in an opportunity to learn and grow. His every action and word is purposeful, even if it seems like a mistake or a mistep. He is absolutely unable to do anything unconscously because he is always conscious of himself. This is directly seen in how he doesn't actually sleep.
  • His encouragement is genuine and so is his praise. Despite his lack of morality and having no humanity in the slightest, he constantly strives to be a good leader to his vassals and an excellent teacher for all he wishes to grow. His love, consideration, and acknowledging of their growth is not an act.
  • His true motives, beliefs, and thoughts are quite unknowable to most...but he does a very good job of acting the part and toning things down for people to understand. Although, him not going over every facet of his infinite thoughts and ideals can lead to some surprising outcomes.
  • He actively works to have his Vassals and all he interacts with to become better, be it through praise or struggle. And if it ever came down to it and someone actually ended his existence, he would welcome the moment with joy. For he would finally have helped someone surpass himself, seen someone stronger than him. And that's something he has never experienced before.

Physical Description:

  • Fatescar typically appears to others as either being some shade of purple or absolute black. He has a golden crown that floats between his tower horns that are at the top of his head, pushing out from beneath the dark shell of his body. His mouth is usually perched as a perpetual grin, a jagged line of gold against the darkness of his face. Though he's fully capable of changing the expression, as much as any other feature of his body.  Which is why if there is a situation that requires his form to be lessened or reduced, he can have perfectly functioning lips.
  • His eyes are two golden portals into his interior, with no pupils or iris. However, if he wishes to be more humanoid in his appearance...he will often have two dots of light burning brighter at the center, to let it be known exactly where his gaze is cast.
  • His build can be described as fit or athletic, with eldritch swirls and runic lines carved into his body. His icon sits in the middle of his chest, a symbol of himself as much as it is struggle and hope. Both the symbol and the lines glow with unnatural golden light, either a steady shine or a low pulse depending on Fatescar's want.  As for the texture and how his body feels, Fatescar's regular covering feels much like velvet though firm, as if you can feel dense muscle beneath. The gold of his lines and symbol feel as smooth as finely cut marble, almost friction-less if you passed a finger into the intricate carvings.
  • Fatescar’s form is usually engulfed in a shifting aura that cloaks his unnatural self. Because of this, his movements usually have a trail of wafting dark to them, his every shifting action obscured behind the enigmatic fog that covers him. Beneath it still burns his radiant eldritch gold, leading those who are exposed to the fulminating dark unsurpassed to feel a conflicting rush of emotions. A mix of both dread and fascination, both repulsed and drawn towards, Fatescar’s shifting mass.
  • Fatescar is a transient being, an outsider by his unnaturally natural nature. To so aid himself in not utterly destroying whatever reality he exists in, he shifts his power and suppresses his form in various ways as to not leave too many awful effects with his arrival. The freedom his form provides allows him to freely shift shape and appearance to his own desire, an ashen cloud of sentient dark or to appear but as an ethereal crown of otherworldly beauty. He has his own restrictions on what he looks like and what he appears as, but in keeping to his enigmatic nature, he has told no one of those exact rules.
