ABOUT
Hock is a very cocky and confident person, loving being the center of attention. He can be a bit slow and ignorant of peoples feelings, wether he legitimately doesn't realise he's offending them or he just doesn't care is up for debate. That being said, he can be incredibly protective and possessive of people, becoming quite violent if they are threatened. Hock can also be very sarcastic and cruel, and come be quite rebellious given the circumstance, challenging those around him. His outward appearance that he attempts to keep up is extremely charming, polite, and friendly.

HISTORY
Hock grew up with his parents and twin sister in the beautiful country of Ireland, tormenting humans that dared to wander into proximity of their lake. Life was good for the young Kelpies, his sister and himself incredibly close, doing everything together, even to the point of sleeping together, curled next to each other. However, one day, in their 18th year of life, his sister decided to go out by herself, as an experiment. Hock berudgingly let her go, telling her to call out if she needed help. Sadly, she failed to do so, and was slaughtered by a mob of humans, enraged at the Kelpies. Hock was distraught, wailing for days, violently lashing out at all those who got too close to the lake. His parents attempted to calm the distraught boy, but to no avail. He had lost his other half, his twin, taking with her all that seemed good and light in the world. He became possessive of his remaining family, not letting them out of sight, becoming enraged if they even suggested going of by themselves. Finally, his father put his foot down, demanding that Hock go to an academy of their choosing, under the pretence of improving his skills. Hock was reluctant, but agreed at the aspect of being better able to protect his family. His parents sent him to Other World Academy, in hopes that the social interaction will help him move on from his sisters death. During his time at Other Worlde Academy, he made many friends, and fell for a particular Valentines spirit named Paris. They eventually began dating, and aquired three children, before marrying as they left the Academy. Hock returned to his family and their herd with Paris and their children. His father stood down from his position as leader, proud of the progress his son had made, and for a while, life was peaceful. Until a rogue Kelpie challenged Hock's positon for leadership. In Kelpie tradition, the challenger and the challenged fight to the death, the victor gaining control of the herd. Either victor then gains the right, in keeping with tradition, to execute the mate and offspring of the loser. During the fight, Hocks mother pleaded for Paris to leave with her and the children, but she refused, wanting to stay with her husband. So, his mother went into hiding with their children, keeping them safe, trusting that she would hear word if he won. Unfortunately, that did not come to pass, the challenger ripping Hocks head in half. His faught with every ounce of his being, knowing that Paris would be next if he lost, and despite it all, he was unsuccessful. All the progress he had made on his trauma, working on his issues and over protectiveness, had been undone.
