Profile
Bruno is a tall but frail, thin-furred Belgain malinois mix. He has bad posture and keeps his head low, and a nasty scowl.
Being the son of a respected police dog isn't all it's made out to be- Bruno rarely feels loved at home with his brother constantly picking on him, and doesn't feel welcome at the police station either because of how many officers despise his mother. He has no ambitions, and really seems like a depressed burnout.
Bruno's mother, Cecilia, built quite the reputation before she had pups. She was born a stray, lived in the Hellfire Gang briefly and narrowly escaped alive, and finally joined the force when she officially moved in with Thistle, her mate. She butt heads often with some officers like Herrlof and Cobalt, and eventually quit to become a therapy dog. Because of all this, she's often seen as sneaky, manipulative, selfish, flaky, and in particular, untrustworthy.
Bruno and his brother, Orthus, were born after all this. They were raised in a somewhat hollow family, that looked fine from the outside, but had no real structure. Orthus, taking more after his father, always got the praise and was deemed a prodigy by the PD. Bruno was cast into his shadow and struggled to escape it; he was physically weaker, and felt like he was destined to be the lesser brother. In training, he slacks off and seldom speaks. It's clear that he isn't thriving where he is, but nobody's willing to help.
