Luca is a very feared and powerful crime boss. He has control over most of the criminal outposts in the country, and many thieves answer to him. During his younger days, he was ruthless, cunning, and cutthroat. After finding someone he felt was worth living for, he became a little more careful. He still has moments where his old days come through, and he can snap fast.

He was kicked out of his home when he was 8, and lived on his own, having to steal and sneak into places for his own survival. Because of this, he has a bit of a soft spot for children. At 9, he truly began his life of crime. He was taken in by a funeral agent, Kress, who taught him how to care for dead bodies. However, instead of properly caring for them, he would often loot the bodies, sometimes going as far as stealing their organs to sell.

After travelling from place to place, he met a man named Austin, and the two of them fell for each other very quickly. They attempted to make a deal with a demon - Austin would lose his right arm in exchange for perfect eyesight and calculation, so he would never miss a shot ever again. This backfired, killing Austin in the process. Luca made a deal with that demon, fudged the contract a bit, and the demon made the deal without fully reading it. Austin's soul - previously belonging to the demon - was now Luca's, and the demon became an entity, trapped inside Austin's body, becoming the life force that resurrected him.
